A being from a dimesion not known to man, Shaden is a strange creature. There have been no reports of harm done by Shaden, but anyone who sets eyes on it feels a sense of dread and despair. Little is known about it, but there have been reports all over the world.

The frequency of the sightings are increasing. Some people know Shaden's purpose here.
They will not speak of it.

Well, General, your companion is finally built.
The Ultimech V2 is a nearly unstoppable force that doesn't look like it is. It can seem small or distorted at a distance due to light-bending waves that radiate from the chest area, and is frightfully fast. The chain gun on the right shoulder packs a punch with a fire rate beyond that of a normal chain gun, and the mini-rocket on the left has about the power of a tank shell. As I said, it's fast, and that makes the blade on the left arm something to worry about. Don't think you can outrun it. the arm on its right is mostly for practical needs, used as a hand and for investigation and such.

The Ultimech series of machines, like Shaden, came from a different dimension, and their technology is far beyond that of the human race, mainly seen in their intelligence and ammunition. Shaden sightings are often followed by wandering Ultimech sightings. While some are passive and non-agressive, several have been known to attack buildings and people. Few deaths have been recorded, but whenever they do attack, witnesses to the carnage report that they seem to be searching. Many people hypothesize that they were sent to destroy Shaden, but why?

"Friendly" Ultimechs have been known to help on occasion, but not always for the right cause. There was one occasion when an Ultimech literally destroyed the side of a fire hydrant to put out the starting flames on a nearby home, while another one helped an evil soul in an unknown land. Ultimechs are truly a perplexing set of beings.

Ultimech types:

Ultimech V1: The first ever sighted. Also known as the "Doom Machine", it befriended an evil soul and allowed them to use it as a protective suit. This, however, weakened its power, and was presumably destroyed. It comprised of four blade legs on a small platform that supported a glass dome just big enough for the evil soul.

Ultimech V2: Shown below, this is known as the "Hero Mech". It has been known to have a generally good nature and helps those in dire need. It is also one of the most intelligent, being able to recognize potential threats before any human possibly could. This Ultimech once actually broke open the side of a Fire Hydrant to put out a fire just as it started in someone's home. The strem of water flew straight through a window and doused the flame before it even flared up. Like other Ultimechs, it does not speak.

Ultimech V3: This Ultimech is a rare sight. Resembling a human-sized metal version of the Ice Titan seen in the Disney movie Hercules... It tends to appear immediately after a Shaden sighting, before the others. Several of the few sightings of this Ultimech are fights with the Empress Aevis, the fights having been sparked by her getting in its way for an unknown reason.

Ultimech V4: Only one sighting exists of this Ultimech; at the same time as a Shaden sighting, in the same area. A spikey wheel with bulyky arms at the sides, it left a trail of deep gouges in the ground as it rolled through the city. Nobody knows this Ultimech's personality or full capabilities.
